I was a data and policy reporter at Politico States for five years, doing data analysis and visualizations as well as some beat reporting. I covered homelessness, public safety, the economy, politics and elections and collaborated on stories on affordable housing, health, education and the environment. I left journalism at the end of 2018 and have gone back to policy work, focusing on homelessness.
